Vocal Revolutionaries was founded in 2011 by two teenagers, Lerato Mokobe and Thulani Ndzishe who saw the need to tell stories from the youth’s perspective. They realized a need to speak on issues that plagued their communities and as such used spoken word to lobby for change. They recognized that through leadership and eloquence that the youth could do anything. They said “this generation can speak for itself”
